[Kingmaker] Joint Discussion

Finally, a thread that will allow both groups to communicate and get to know each other better.

Heh, not what I expected (but I should have). Try saying it. It should sound like GM (albeit a little odd).

This post has had fairly little replies hasn't it, thought that both groups would jump at the chance to regail each other of the trials and hardships faced both ingame and out.

I was sort of expecting that as well, given that you can possibly visit each other's kingdoms later. Or a generic social thing. Or at least, blabbering to increase Activity score.

How is your party in Kingmaker group 1?

In group 2 we have a monk, a ranger, a magus, a rogue and an oracle (all level 2 atm). There has only been 1 fight since I joined the group but we tackled it pretty quickly, with no real issues so far.
What kind of party are you rocking there in Group 1?

Currently, there's a Wizard, fire based Sorcerer, Summoner, fighter, Gunslinger and Rogue. We've had a total of three deaths so far, but they've all resulted from the party being split.
They'll level up to level 7 soon. Wizard's drooling with the thought of 4th level spells, but the Sorcerer's got the right idea: Now things will start using 5th level spells on them. Dominate Person, anyone? Magic Jar?

Hmm, is it safe to ask what classes died? And were they re-rolled or brought back to life?

Cleric died with the Gunslinger when they wandered off together and got eaten by Wolves. The Gunslinger got reincarnated using Activity score and came back as a dwarf. Cleric stayed dead and played a sorcerer, who tried to kill the Stag Lord by himself, and failed (There was a HUGE amount of underestimation of the Stag Lord in the party). Then he came back as a Summoner, who is still alive at the moment.

Lesson to be learnt from this is: don't wander off by yourself.

Well, we advanced to level 3 not too long back, have any of you guys done any multi-classing on your characters? Do you plan to?

As far as I can tell, there are no plans for multiclassing. Pathfinder rewards single classing much more than previous incarnations of DnD. Personally there are a whole lot of prestige classes I'd love to try out eventually, but that'll have to wait until I start playing myself.

Double post back to back. We just mutilated the stag lord and his men, and zombies. now we've got our level ups to consider. did anybody ever multiclass? if u had it to do over again would u? I'm kind of wondering if i should pick up a level of rogue for some extra damage and blast some points into thiefy skills like sleight of hand. Also wondering if doing more damage would be better than just staying straightly oracle and getting limited wish spells for free on down the road at level 20. HMMMMMMMMMM
